Main / Expeditions / Goa 2006-2007 Goa 2006-2007An ordinary travel to one of cozy nooks of our planet – Goa, the smallest Indian state which is situated on the south-west of Hindustan. This part of India once was a Portuguese colony. Therefore, besides traditional religions – Hinduism and Buddhism, Catholicism is widely spread here. But there are other distinctions of Goa from the rest of India. Everything is oriented on tourism, although the common Indian characteristics, especially in people, can’t be hidden. But first of all your attention is attracted by warm and tender waves of the Arabian Sea, which wash sandy and sometimes stony beaches of Goa, and of course by palms. The rest in wonderful place and exotic New Year were not the main goals of the trip. The main objective was examination of new landscapes that absolutely unlike those in our country. That’s why sunbathing took little time, while almost the whole central part of Goa coast was investigated and took photos of. Undoubtedly, the coast is the most impressive part or the local landscapes, although there were trips far inland. This travel lasted two weeks, from the Catholic to the Orthodox Christmas. Now in my collection you can find landscapes of exotic coasts.
